The Marine Hull Team is a strong market leader with the principal focus of the portfolio on modern ocean-going vessels in excess of 5,000 gross registered tons, operated by experienced and established businesses.

We have many years experience and focus on risk selection, continuity and the development of long-term relationships. A large proportion of our portfolio consists of core clients, many of whom have been supported by us over many years.

The portfolio is diverse both geographically and in terms of risk type. Whilst the majority of risks accepted are insurance or facultative reinsurance, we also underwrite selected proportional reinsurance treaties from specific territories.

Our principal distribution channel is through regulated Lloyd’s brokers within the London subscription market.
